Photographs by Tom Caravaglia
Tom Caravaglia is well-known for his stunning photographs of artists in the performing arts. River Mill Art Gallery has acquired two of his portraits: one of composer Philip Glass, and another of dancer Robert Small of the Murray Louis Dance Company. The two photgraphs capture the yin and yang of the worlds of music and dance - the exhilarating movement of Small and the perfect stillness of Glass, both set against a stark black and white background.
